How to protect cells in Excel ?

Open your Excel workbook

Select the "Cells" you want to protect
Click and drag your mouse over the desired cells to select them.

Go to the review tab on the menubar and click on the "Review" tab to access the protection options.

Click on "Manage Protection"
This opens the protect sheet dialog box, allowing you to set permissions for users.

Choose the permissions you want to allow users.
